Lead in Water Testing Plan
Introduction and Purpose
STEAM Academy is committed to providing a safe and healthful learning and work environment for all our students and staff. We recognize the importance of protecting our students and staff from potential lead exposure.
Lead in Water Testing
Each year, STEAM Academy will notify parents and staff of the Lead in Water testing plan and will inform them that sampling reports and corrective actions are available for review on the STEAM Academy's webpage. Parents and staff may also request a copy of the information from the school by contacting the Director at: info@steamacademymn.org
Starting July 1, 2024, STEAM Academy will report their test results and remediation activities to the Minnesota Department of Health in a form and manner determined by the commissioner in consultation with school districts by July 1 of each year.
The commissioner of health must post and annually update the test results and remediation efforts on the Minnesota Department of Health website by school site.
Lead Testing was conducted on site during the year 2024. As reported below no lead was found.

PARENT ENGAGEMENT
STEAM Academy is committed to providing quality education for every child in this district. To this end, we want to establish partnerships with parents and with the community. Everyone gains if school and home work together to promote high achievement by our children. Neither home nor school can do the job alone. Parents play an extremely important role as children’s first teachers. Their support for their children and for our school is critical to their children’s successes at every step along the way.
